From Personality to Essence
Enneagram Retreat June 3-5
Some Spaces Available

We have some spaces remaining for the upcoming Enneagram retreat June 3-5 in beautiful Valle Crucis Conference Center near Boone, N.C. The conference begins Sunday, June 3rd at 5:00 p.m. and ends Tuesday, June 5th after lunch.

The theme of the retreat is An Enneagram Journey: from Personality to Essence. For this learning event, we will use the Enneagram as originally intended — a tool for spiritual practice, not an exercise in personality typing. Fr. Richard Rohr says the Enneagram is the finest tool I know to support an authentic spiritual life.

Imagine: how differently might we experience each day if we looked at ourselves and others with fresh eyes? What if we paid less attention to habitual patterns and behaviors that no longer support us or those we live with?

The Enneagram offers us ways to accomplish this: through recognizing our default patterns and those of others, we can choose to see and appreciate Essence — the beautiful Soul qualities within every human being. This retreat will emphasize the practical application of the Enneagram's wisdom through verbal and multi-media presentations, personal stories, group interaction, and time for reflection and personal solitude.

Presenters for the conference will be Dr. Christine King of Fresh Perceptions, Enneagram Workshop leader Paula Benton, and CSW Director Rob Field. All of them have significant experience offering the wisdom of the Enneagram's to groups and individuals. This is the second year they have led the Center's Enneagram Series.

The all-inclusive conference fee of $374 covers lodging, all meals, and all instructional costs. A commuter rate is available for those who live or can stay nearby.
