The Welcoming Prayer: Saying 'Yes' to Now
Wednesday, Oct. 17 at Noon
Elk Haven Wellness Center
100 Elks Club Road in Brevard

The Welcoming Prayer was developed by Contemplative Outreach, one of the preeminent spirituality centers in the world. The Welcoming Prayer practice uses a simple 3-step method that can unlock the soul's natural ability to welcome the present moment. Without realizing it, so many people miss out on the wonder, beauty, and love available to us moment by moment.
On Oct. 17 at Noon at Elk Haven Wellness Center in Brevard, Rob Field will lead participants step-by-step through the practice of the Welcoming Prayer, which is available for any and every spiritually-minded person. Free learning materials will be given to all participants.

There is no charge to attend, and all are welcome.

Beyond the Basics - Our Hearts In Advent
Nov. 29 - Dec. 2
(Thurs. evening through Sun. morning)
St. Mary's Retreat Center, Sewanee, TN

with Jeanine Siler-Jones, Rebecca Parker & Laura Copeland
Join us at the beginning of Advent, a time of waiting and hope for the light that guides us through the darkness, calling us to be present in our own arising for the sake of all. With our paradox of embracing and balancing our time-bound yet timeless nature, we will come together to explore what it means to ‘put the mind in the heart’ and to embody the Wisdom tradition at this moment in history, through the teachings of Cynthia Bourgeault.
