Just Go For It!
How does the Proverbs 31 Woman obtain her strength?
As virtuous women our bodies are the Temple of the Holy Spirit and we need to take care of them. (1 Corinthians 6:19-20, 2 Corinthians 6:16-18). This allows God to work through us the way he desires. The Proverbs 31 Woman strives to obtain her strength on a daily basis. Not just any strength, but her spiritual, mental and physical strengths.
Being tired affects our lives, spiritually, mentally and physically; we are not as sharp and can be easily deceived. It can also affect our prayer life, our best witnessing to others, our walk in the Fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23).
How do we prepare to obtain our spiritual , mental and physical strength?
We read in a previous verse (Proverbs 31:15), how she prepares to obtain spiritual strength. She starts by reading God’s word, praying, praising and worshipping to help prepare for the day. For her mental strength, she not only reads the word of God, but she meditates throughout the day. The Proverbs 31 Woman also seems to have an interest in reading books, to keep her mind positive.
I would like to think, she is abreast of what goes on around her, and this gives her the opportunity to communicate intelligently and effectively with anyone. Like most of us she prepares herself to obtain physical strength, by getting the proper exercise, or it could be through her work or something she may have set aside.
When it comes to physical exercise we can accomplish it in many different ways, for instance, we can find something we really like. We can: walk, do aerobics, play a sport (tennis, golf, etc.), or bicycle riding. Some of us may choose to exercise alone or may choose someone to work out with. Imagine, if our spiritual, mental and physical strengths are in check, our lives will be less stressful, will be more confident, and we will have relief from daily tensions. Our health will be better and we will become more energetic. Hence, we will be motivated to accomplish more and most importantly, we will enjoy and have the sense of peace with everything we set out to do.
Ladies, we don’t need to think about how to obtain our spiritual, mental and physical strengths. Let’s be like the Proverbs 31 Woman and Just Go For It!
Blessings and Success.

Autism, Our Journey
Meet Ms. Tray Kearney, Powerhouse President, Woman2Woman Radio Show and active Advocate of Autism. This is her beautiful story about Autism.
"Autism does not define who we are its just part of our journey. "
There are four words no mother ever wants to hear “your child has autism†this is a devastating blow to life as you once knew it. The fear is paralyzingly. Your mind is racing. For most parents you've heard the word autism but really didn't pay attention because it wasn't you. I knew something was just not right with Germaine around 18 months. Being a mother of two older sons who made all their milestones on time I just knew something was wrong. When they said “your child has autism†I was angry, confused and embarrassed. I began to think about myself. What am I going to tell people? What did I do wrong? Why me?

Once I got over myself and the fear I knew it wasn't about me and furthermore I already loved this little boy unconditionally and I was going to let a condition make me feel any different about my baby. Then I realized this is a special gift God trusted me with so that meant God thought I was pretty special too. I prayed and God sent resources and people who were on the same journey and were willing to support and guide me. I began to see the world through Germaine's eyes. I became less judgmental towards other people. I became more sensitive to people's circumstances and situations. I learned that everyone is an individual and learns and grows at their own pace. I realized there is no competition we are all unique and special in our own way. I began to discover that love is not just a word it’s an action and that talk is cheap. My son showed me how to love beyond words. Germaine has never spoken a word yet somehow he gets me and I get him. We can have a conversation with our eyes or through our body language.
To our family Germaine is normal. His normal is his normal. Just like your normal is your normal and my normal is my normal. In our home this is the norm so we don't focus on autism we focus on being a happy family. Autism does not control our life. It's not always easy but who's life is? It is important for us as parents to stop comparing our children to other people's children and to love and accept them where there are and for who they are. Society has taught us to compete and compare when God intentionally made us different. "Autism does not define who we are its just part of our journey. "

Meet Dr. Lily Jenkins
For many who have read my testimony in the book, The Life of a Lily, know that I truly don’t look like what I’ve been through. But here is a condensed version to give you a snapshot of what it took to get from there … to here. I was taught to have style, grace, class, and dignity for who I was and how to live, with or without a man. Keeping it real everyone! My grandmother insisted that I did everything that I could, independent of the opposite sex, so that if I had to be alone, I could make it. So I attained all of the degrees, accolades and such to show others what I could do. But how many of you know that apart from God, you really can do nothing? God showed me along the way just how much I would need Him and only Him to get me through.
There is no one greater than the Lord and no one who can truly transform you into the person you were created to be. In July of 2007, after coming to a crossroads in my life, to seek the purpose and plan for what God had for ME, I was shown my next assignment and this time, it was away from everything I thought I knew…my family, friends, and state of origin, to go to a place that was unfamiliar. ATLANTA, GA. Packing up all that I had on an ABS truck, I placed my four-year-old daughter in the back among all of our clothes to make that eight hour trek from Florida to Georgia. It was the scariest of times but also the most liberating of times. But I wasn’t going empty-handed. God allowed me to come to a new home, with a new job, and was driving to Atlanta in a new car. He made it so easy because I decided to trust Him to do what I could not do. I accepted the call on my life after nine years of running away from it, and was ordained as an Elder in the Lord’s Church on March 21, 2010. Shortly thereafter, I met my now husband and best friend, Donald E. Jenkins, which also has a STORY like you wouldn’t believe! His 23 years of studying purpose has birthed our company, Purpose Development Institute, which the Lady of Purpose Network sprung from.
Hope you enjoyed it.
The Lady of Purpose Network has grown from an online training platform to women investing from 50 cities and 19 states with 5 chapters up and running, with more launching soon! As you can see, from my entire site, this message is like no other. I can attest to the power of God to take your mess and transform it into a message for the Kingdom of God. You just have to allow Him to lead.
Until Next Time!
Blessings To You & Your Families
