Quist Family Move-in Party, Saturday

OK, the truck is loaded and driving towards Boulder as this email is being typed. At
9:00am on Saturday, the Crestview Family (that's you and me) will meet the Quist's at church and help them move into their new home. Hope to see you there. What a wonderful blessing that day will be for us all!
Bike to Work Day Barbecue Outreach this coming Wednesday
It's almost here!
This coming
Wednesday, June 22 at 5:00 p.m. We are an official Bike-to-Work site, inviting cyclists to stop by Crestview for our summertime BBQ! Click
here to see our listing in the Bike to Work Day events calendar (it's really cool!). There will be games for the children, blankets on the lawn for people to relax while they eat, a raffle (Jackie scored some GREAT prizes). Please contact Muffie to let her know what dish you will be bringing for the pot luck (margaret.vanandel@gmail.com). Also, if you have a blanket to put out on the lawn, please bring that too.
This will be a casual way for Crestview members to show our love to people in our community. Remember: our number one strength in the Healthy Church survey was
Loving Relationships. Let's show this love in a big way! ONE IMPORTANT CHANGE FOR JUNE 22: We will
begin our BBQ at 5pm, not 6pm, since cyclists will be leaving work at that time. (If you can come a little earlier than 5:00 to help set up, that would be awsome!) So please bring your side dishes and desserts - AND BRING EXTRA - to share along with burgers, brats and veggie burgers. If you have questions, contact Eleanor Needy, Margaret VanAndel or Jackie LaMaire.
Empty Prescription Bottles Needed
Terry Maker has asked for empty prescription bottles for an art project she is working on. All sizes needed. Feel free to black out the name on the bottle with a black marker. You can leave your donations in the church office. Thank you!!
Congregational Meeting
Please mark your calendars to attend the congregational Meeting on
Sunday, June 26 right after the service.
Update on the Budget
The deacons want to thank Crestview members for their faithful support
of our programs and staff. Note that our actual giving is more than
our actual expenses.
Pastor Mark Installation Celebration
On
Sunday, July 17, Mark Quist will be officially installed as pastor of Crestview Church. Add this to your calendar and plan on attending this service to praise God for His mercy and blessings on our Fellowship through His gift to us of the Quist Family.
Message from the Library
Launched in April 2016, the new Digital Library gives free, online access for CRC churches and members to hundreds of Faith Alive Christian Resources titles—including curriculum, Bible studies, and more. This one-year pilot program, made possible by your church’s support of Ministry Shares, will maximize the use and ministry impact of Faith Alive’s resources throughout the denomination. With the Digital Library, you and everyone in your church can access hundreds of resources in a more convenient way—any time of the day or night, from anywhere, on any device connected to the web. Sign up for Crestview camping!
July 29-31 in beautiful Golden Gate State Park, just 50 minutes drive from Boulder. If camping isn’t your thing, then plan to come for the day on Saturday. All you will miss is 2 nights of questionable sleep. There will be vaguely organized activities during the day on Saturday, all accessible straight from the campsite (hiking, biking (road and mountain), fishing and of course hanging out at camp). We will have our Crestview service in God’s amazing outdoors around 5pm on Saturday. Crestview will cover the cost of the campsite, you will be responsible for the park entry fee ($7 per day). Invite your outdoor loving neighbors!
Email Eleanor to reserve your spot. (
eleneedy@yahoo.com) ……….first come, first served. (Include number of people, number of vehicles, currently we have tent only sites – let me know if a camper/RV site is needed)
