The Last Concert
The High Country High School Chorale had been anticipating this concert for a long time, because it had been postponed for over a month, due to inclement weather. Nathanael has enjoyed participating in the Chorale for about a year and a half, and Kaitlyn joined last August. We were all thankful for great weather this past Sunday and for the opportunity to enjoy an excellent concert.
We experienced mixed emotions, however, as we realized this was the last concert Nathanael & Kaitlyn would be able to participate in before we leave Boone the end of February. Participating in activities for the last time or realizing the the last time is coming soon is a big part of our life, as we near the end of our time in Boone, North Carolina. On the one hand, we eagerly anticipate the ministry God has for us in Loja, Ecuador. On the other hand, we are sad to leave our friends here.
As we mentioned in our December prayer letter, our goal is to leave for Ecuador in May of this year. We are thank the Lord for the 52 individuals who have joined our prayer team, committing to pray for us on a specific day of the week or on a daily basis. This partnership in prayer has been a tremendous blessing to us, and we are trusting God to raise up 48 more prayer partners to join our team. You can find out more about how to join our prayer team by visiting the Prayer Support page of our blog. We are also very grateful to those who are partnering with us in ministry through financial support. At this point, we have commitments for 12% of our monthly support and 17% of our one-time support. We still have a long way to go, but are encouraged to know that several individuals and churches are prayerfully considering supporting us. You can find more information about our financial needs by visiting the Financial Support page of our blog.
Please pray that God will give us wisdom to clearly share the vision He has given us for leadership development in Loja, Ecuador. Thank you!
May God bless you in your journey today,
Jeff & Terri
