Sunshine Coast Jobs Hub NOW LIVE
With a great range of work and career opportunities, an entrepreneurial and innovation ecosystem, a thriving job market, endless coastline and hinterland, and a welcoming community, the Sunshine Coast is home to an amazing and unforgettable work and lifestyle experience.
The new Sunshine Coast Jobs Hub is a joint initiative by Sunshine Coast Council and Study Sunshine Coast as an outcome of the Sunshine Coast Regional Economic Development Strategy. Our mission is to help local businesses and industry grow as well as attract new business and talent to our region.
Phase 1 of the Sunshine Coast Jobs Hub Platform was launched today (Dec 19) with a focus on advising key stakeholders and employers about the platform and how to use it.
Phase 2 of the platform will launch in March 2023 with a full marketing campaign.
Sunshine Coast Jobs Hub is a smart, cost free way to recruit quality local staff as well as attracting new workers to our region, using this easy online system.
Three workshops will be delivered across the region with Cleantech Industries Sunshine Coast. The workshop will help businesses understand how they can cut costs and reduce their environmental footprint.
Participants will analyse their energy, water and waste use to understand where efficiencies can be made and learn how to create a Sustainability Action Plan to implement into their business. This is open to all businesses but will be of particular use to small businesses that have limited resources to investigate and implement.
