Fayetteville, Cumberland County, and Partners Launch Community-Wide Branding Survey

The City of Fayetteville, Cumberland County, and nine partner organizations have launched a survey to gather residents’ input for a new community-branding platform. This research is part of an intensive project to create an updated and unified approach to communicating the area’s strengths, assets, diversity, vision, and potential. More Info

Big South Baseball Championship Tickets On-Sale Now

The 2019 Big South Conference Baseball Championship presented by Hardee's will be hosted at Segra Stadium in Fayetteville. The tournament is scheduled for May 21-25, and will feature the top nine teams in the final standings. The new format features two single elimination games to open the tournament, plus a bye for the No. 1 seed into the final six. More Info

Downtown Parking Information - Regular & Event Day Parking

City of Fayetteville staff will constantly monitor the downtown parking process during large events, making adjustments as needed, while ensuring citizen safety and security. Downtown parking information including all public and private lots and areas designated for handicapped-accessible parking is listed on the City website at FayettevilleNC.gov/downtownparking. We want citizens to feel welcomed and be encouraged to return for future downtown events. More Info

City Selects New Assistant City Manager

The City of Fayetteville has selected Angel Wright-Lanier as its new Assistant City Manager. Wright-Lanier comes to America’s Hometown after serving in similar positions with the City of Goldsboro and Town of Mooresville. She was Assistant City Manager in Goldsboro from 2013 to 2015 and Deputy Town Manager in Mooresville from 2015 to present. More Info

Public Feedback Needed for 2019-2020 Annual Action Plan

The City of Fayetteville’s Economic & Community Development Department is seeking public feedback for the 2019-2020 Annual Action Plan, which covers July 1, 2019 to June 30, 2020. The Economic & Community Development Department programs are part of the One Year Action Plan that describes how the City intends to use the Community Development Block Grant and HOME Investment Partnership funds for the 2019-2020 fiscal year. More Info
