Issue #11: Time to Get Caffeinated!

It's time, it's time! That's right, VivaJava: The Coffee Game has now officially launched on Kickstarter, and we need your help. Just as with Carnival, we can't produce this wonderful game without the generous funding and support of our Kickstarter backers. We love VivaJava and we know you will, too. And even if it doesn't look like your cup of tea (or coffee!), you can still help us by spreading the good word to friends, family or colleagues that you think might like a bit of caffeine with their gaming.

To learn more about the game and to make a pledge, please take a look at the VivaJava Kickstarter page. We also have an interview with designer T.C. Petty III in the latest State of Games podcast.

Thank you all for your continued support of Dice Hate Me Games!

First catch!

In our last newsletter, we shared a sneak peek at the first full prototype for Take the Bait. Since then, we've been doing advanced playtesting - and it's a blast! The mechanics are proving solid and fun, so after tonight's test with our Lifetime Carnies we'll be adding in advanced equipment and character abilities for even more fishing frenzy. We'll be back soon with more about the game, and some sneak peeks at some of Kwanchai Moriya's art.

Carnival in the wild!

Carnival has been delivered to our wonderful Kickstarter backers and now there are Carnival sightings all over! People have reported seeing it sold and played in their local game stores, and we think that is just awesome. We love pictures, and the above picture is from Ruth B on BoardGameGeek. If any of you have pictures you'd like to share, send them to us and we'll start a gallery! And if you don't see Carnival in your local store, ask them politely to contact Game Salute.
