But I think some of the things that nonprofits need to think about is there is a lot that hasn’t changed. One is your mission still matters. You’re still doing good work in the community, and you need to get the word out about the work that you’re doing in the community.

Apply to become a member of the National Advisory Committee

Until April 8, 2021, Canada’s Volunteer Awards will be accepting applications for its National Advisory Committee. Members of the Committee play a leading role in the selection of Canada's Volunteer Awards recipients. The committee consists of 15 volunteer members who are passionate about volunteering, and are selected based on their knowledge and experience working or volunteering in support of community development. Additionally, members will reflect Canada's diversity and serve for a term of three years.

Canadian Internet Registration Authority (CIRA)’s annual Community Investment Program grants fund innovative community internet projects to build a resilient, trusted and secure internet for all Canadians in the areas of infrastructure, digital literacy, cybersecurity, and community leadership. The Department of Canadian Heritage’s Canada Arts Presentation Fund provides financial assistance to organizations that professionally present arts festivals or performing arts series and organizations that offer support to arts presenters in Canada. Applications to the Programming stream are due April 1
