Dragon of Shandon Festival – Call for Volunteers!

Get Involved in the Dragon of Shandon Festival

Would you like to be part of an amazing community arts festival this Halloween? There are just three weeks to go, and we’re looking for volunteers to get involved in every bit of the Dragon of Shandon Festival.

We're looking for people to help with...

...building giant props and puppets, painting, costume-making, photography, videography, event organization, stewarding, music, sound, lighting, and taking part in the Dragon of Shandon parade on October 31st.

We'd especially like to hear from people who want to be involved on the night of the parade, as we need lots of people to help with the floats, give the crowd some spooky thrills and bring the Dragon to life. So if you fancy getting creative and and participating in an amazing community arts festival, let us know!

If you'd like to take part, we'd love to hear from you.

Call 021 4212914, email or drop into our workshop on Albert Quay any time!

You can also check out our website and find us on Facebook.

Thank you!
