Tomorrow...the Dragon Returns!

It's here! The Dragon of Shandon Festival is in full swing, and there's just one day left.
Tomorrow is the grand finale...the Dragon of Shandon Parade! Here's all the info you need on the parade happening tomorrow, Friday 31st October.
  • 5:30 pm – Hands of Change (children's wall art)

Venue: MYO, Pope's Quay
  • 7:00 pm – Dragon of Shandon Parade!

Starts from Butter Exchange Building Shandon - John Redmond St - Popes Quay - Shandon Street - Church St - Finishing at the Butter Exchange.
 
He's Back! The Dragon of Shandon returns this Halloween Night, 31st of October, once again emerging from the underworld to walk with you for one night in celebration of the ancient tradition of Samhain.

Accompanied by an array of fantastical creatures, púcas and banshees, the 36ft Dragon made entirely of tape will make his way through the streets of Shandon with over 300 spooky performers, live musicians, percussionists and brass bands making this an event one not to be missed.
  • 9:30 pm – Live Music and Festive Games

Venue: MYO on Pope's Quay
Suitable for all ages.

The Dragon of Shandon Festival and Parade is an event for the people of Cork, and we want you to be involved! Come along tomorrow for the parade in your Halloween finest, and join in the spooky fun.
