As a result of LUS Base Leadership’s concerns over the high line averages for the month of December, APFA National President, Bob Ross approached the Company to request a reduction in the line averages as well as the number of Reserves throughout the 4 LUS bases.
The company agreed to the following updated averages and resulting reductions in the number of Reserves for the December bid month:
These reductions resulted in 73 fewer LUS Flight Attendants on Reserve in December.
NOTE: As always, these numbers have the potential to change based on the number of Flight Attendants who go out on or return from a leave.
APFA is a strong and independent Union comprised of 26,000 hard-working Flight Attendants of American Airlines. Like any organization, opinions and interests are varied. What makes APFA unique, though, is its highly democratic process which allows members to make their voices heard through the direct election of their Union representatives and voting power on all Constitutional changes. APFA is proud of its membership’s diversity, passion, and advocacy.
