Welcome to our October Newsletter from the Incognito Dance family.
INCOGNITO LATEST NEWS
Thank you to everyone who joined us on our latest parties and courses throughout August /September.  Especially the Saturday Night Bak2Skool Special, great to see so many people make an effort and congratulations to Caroline, Agata and Sarah on winning the prizes. Also we must give big KISSES and farewell to Patricia Ibanez, Dipo Okuns and Martina Fischerova, who are sadly leaving the UK for worldwide adventures, we will miss you all. Hope to see you back one day.
Our popular 3 hour workshops still have a few places left, on Saturday September 28th (1-4pm) at Hammersmith, we have our 3 hour Beginners and Improvers workshops, perfect for anyone who has danced from 0 upto 2 years. Also on the same day we have our 3 hours Ladies Styling / Spinning Workshop by Superstar Eva Marunova for Intermediate/Advanced Ladies. These courses sell out very quick so please reserve you places ASAP.
In October we have our famous Halloween Fancy Dress Parties at Loudwater Salsa Club (27th Oct) & Hammersmith Salsa Club (30th Oct). So get ready for some scary nites out, prizes for best dressed.
Is it too early to talk about New Years Eve??? We don't think so.. and with good reason. On 15th October our discount LIMITED OFFER tickets go on sale for our massive New Years Eve Party at the beautiful Chiswick Ballroom Hall. If you remember last year we were sold out 3 weeks prior to the event. As a gift to our members, we are offering a discounted early bird price for the first 40 people who buy tickets after 15th Oct at 9am. Set this date in your calender.
Whether you are an absolute beginner or a hard core SalsaGeek, there is something here for you. Dancing is without doubt, an excellent way to stay fit and healthy whilst learning a life changing skill, also a great natural way to meet new friends or partners. Beginners are always warmly welcomed and encouraged to enjoy dance. Experienced dancers are given fun, technically challenging classes, and plenty of hours to social dance to the latest Latin music by our famous and award winning DJ's.
You are in safe hands with Incognito Dance, we have guests,teachers and performers who have competed and won numerous World and European Championships over the last 13 years.
INCOGNITO CLUB NEWS
Putney Salsa Club EVERY TUESDAY (replacing the Fulham Club)
After a fantastic opening month, Putney Salsa Club promises to be around for many years. It has loads to offer all dancers; great venue which allows us to give you intense classes and free social dancing. We will be providing 2 hours classes at all levels followed by FREE social dancing after classes till 11pm. If you fancy brushing up on skills or just a loads of free dancing.... this is the place for you. The club is only 2 min walk from Putney Mainline Station and East Putney (District Line). It has a good floor and sound system, so perfect if you want to boost your dancing skills with fun, but technically challenging classes. Always FREE entry for those who want to social dance after classes to the latest Salsa / Bachata beats from DJ Incognito. We will be providing Bachata classes on the first Tuesday of each month. Hope you can join us.
Hammersmith Salsa Club - EVERY WEDNESDAY (Voted by BBC ONfm as West London favourite Salsa Club)
The calender for this club is packed with wonderful events and surprises. Please see the website for full info on dates, especially shows by Pexava and the Halloween Party. Hammersmith Salsa Club is a fun and friendly club, with challenging classes and loads of social dancing, a great midweek treat for everyone. If you have not been to this club yet, come down and see what all the fuss is about. Our Wednesday nights are now averaging 150+ dancers. So why not join our regular line up of Jeff, Ninela, Joseph, Alyssa, Emrah, Alison, Agi, Shenel, Saori, Corina, Keoni, Shyal, Rasa and Peter.
Wycombe Salsa Club - EVERY THURSDAY
Due to popular demand we started salsa classes in the heart of High Wycombe. Join us if you want extra lessons and practice, we have classes and courses, and as a special offer we are allowing FREE social dancing after the classes all this at Wycombe Salsa Club. This fabulous club with a great sound system, terrace balcony and fantastic sprung floor, perfect for dancing. This is the the new home for Incognito on Thursdays. Incognito Dance are putting together a new Student Performance Team. Choreographed by the mega popular EVA MARUNOVA, who is one of the most sought after stars of the Salsa/Latin world. EVA has performed and taught at many worldwide congresses. Eva is working with us to put together a very tough performance course. Only Intermediate and Advanced Ladies apply please,
This is a fantastic chance for intermediate/advanced ladies looking to take their Salsa and performance skills to a whole new level. The course will be very very tough. We are only looking for 12 ladies to join this group. It will be very intense and definitely not for the faint hearted. The course includes performances at many of London’s famous salsa clubs. Auditions are held during Oct/Nov, with rehearsals in air conditioned mirrored studios in the Fulham Dance Attic on Sunday.
As part of the course you will have a chance to perform at some of the best clubs in and around London, on average each lady performs at 8 shows in a short period.

The course will focus on partnerwork, spinning, styling (hands, feet, body, posture, and attitude) , footwork, musicality, spinning techniques and ability to enhance confidence.

 Course Details: We are offering three hours of expert salsa tuition in a single day because that's just enough to lay the foundations of salsa dancing and enough to really feel you've got somewhere. If you are a total beginner, or been dancing for months and want to sharpen your skills to get that much needed boost to your confidence and dancing, then this course is perfect for you. The course will offer much more than a single lesson once or twice a week. Our instructors will give the group an intensive program that will get you dancing much more confidently. Included in the price is 1 FREE entrance to our regular nights on Wednesdays at the same venue, so you can practice your skills. The focus will be on learning quickly in a very relaxed fun atmosphere. All our staff are very friendly and encouraging.
We will give you tips and techniques that you can take away and keep forever. More importantly fundamental techniques that will carry you through your whole Latin dance life.
