Letter of Compassion from MIT
Dear Madrona Community,
Our nation is in a great unrest right now. We know this affects many of our own families on a very personal level. We want our families to know all are accepted, loved and supported within the Madrona Integrated Team. We are really sorry for what is happening today, what happened yesterday, and what will still be happening tomorrow. We are trying to make changes. Please know that we see you, we love you, we support you. Our goal is to always provide a space you feel safe in.
We encourage those of you with privilege to reject racism and to stand up for those who don't. We are continuing to learn and try every day to be better.
"To be humble, to be kind;
It is the giving of the peace in your mind.
To a stranger, to a friend;
To give in such a way that has no end.
We are love, we are one;
We are how we treat each other when the day is done."
--Nothing More by The Alternate Routes.
May health and peace be with you,
Madrona Integrated Team
