Webinar

Tuesday, November 29, 2022

11:00am - 12:00pm EST

Registration closes November 25 at 11:59 pm EST.
The Indiana Department of Health conducts the Youth Risk Behavior Survey (YRBS) biennially in partnership with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. The results from the YRBS help the Indiana Department of Health understand what current youth are experiencing and identify areas for future programming. In this webinar, you will learn the basics of the YRBS, explore key findings, and identify important data to share with youth-serving organizations.

After this webinar, participants will be able to:
  • Understand the YRBS and School Health Profiles Survey, including who collects the data, how data for each survey are collected, and for what purpose they collect it.
  • Explain key findings from youth self-assessments of their own health and behaviors.
  • Identify data to share with youth-serving organizations and/or create a plan for action.
