 Lunch on the Lawn: Join us on Palm Sunday, April 2nd, immediately following the 11:00am service for an afternoon of food, friends, and fun on Calvary’s front lawn! Bring blankets/lawn chairs, a picnic, or purchase burgers or hotdogs at Calvary (pre-pay HERE). There will be games, crafts, and a dunk tank with Pastor Shawn and Pastor Brian Howard! Family fun for all ages!

 24 Hours of Prayer: As a church, we do not depend on our own power, but on God through prayer. Come to room 1108 to pray anytime between the hours of 7:00pm on Thursday, April 6th, and 7:00pm on Good Friday, April 7th. There will be multiple stations to assist you in your prayer time. We will be praying for Calvary, Good Friday and Easter services, your prayer requests, etc. This will be a powerful time to prepare your heart to celebrate Jesus' resurrection.

 The 4th Annual PrayFit Run and 1-Mile Walk-n-Roll: We are excited to announce that Calvary is once again hosting the PrayFit Run happening on Saturday, May 6th to benefit our Special Abilities Ministry. This event helps fund respite events like BEACH DAY, BUDDY BREAK, and JOY UNLEASHED. Please register to walk a mile with our kids and families. And whether you walk the mile with our VIP’s, or you choose to run the 5K or 10K routes, all participants receive a finisher’s medal and t-shirt. Come enjoy great music, food, and community.  Potluck Passover Seder: Did you know the Last Supper was the celebration of Passover? Come on Thursday, April 6th, from 5:00-9:00pm in room 1100 and experience how Jewish people celebrate this special holiday, how Jesus celebrated it, and how He Himself is beautifully pictured in the Passover Seder. This presentation will enlighten and inspire you as we prepare to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus the Messiah, the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!  Women's CBS (Community Bible Study): We love seeing what happens in women’s and children’s lives when they discover God through the study of His Word. Together we explore the Bible (this semester: the Book of Revelation) and what it tells us about the God who has woven His story through history and is present with us now.  Sally Jane Love Parks went to be with the Lord on January 10, 2023, and her husband, Larry Clark Parks, went to be with the Lord on October 29, 2020. Larry & Sally were one of Calvary's founding families. A Celebration of Life service for the Parks will be held on Friday, March 24th, at 10:00am in the Worship Center. The service is open to all. Please keep the Parks, Dixon, Hickman, and Myhre families in your prayers.

 “The Living Room” is a new ministry at Calvary supporting people who speak Russian. They meet on Saturdays at 6:00pm in the high school room (1500) for stories and conversations, encouragement and inspiration, worship, and discovering how to live and love like Jesus.  Short-Term Mission Trips provide meaningful opportunities to learn, grow, experience, and share the love of Jesus. Each year Calvary sends teams to locations around the world to work alongside our ministry partners and supported missionaries to help share the hope of the Jesus. This year we are going to:

HSM Small Groups are where we teach high school students how to follow Jesus step-by-step. We do this by gathering on Tuesday or Wednesday nights in homes all over the Conejo Valley in gender-specific groups of 5-15 students. Preschool Teachers: Looking for teachers for the 2023-24 school year (August-June). We are seeking fun, creative, and experienced Christian preschool teachers to lead 2-4 year old classes. Applicants should have a mature Christian faith and be actively involved in a Bible-based church. Qualified candidates MUST have a minimum of 12 Child Dev. or E.C.E. units completed and at least one year of prior work experience in a state-licensed preschool.
