How To: Permission Marketing
A business has better success with drip marketing if they first get the permission of their clients or prospects. Let’s take the e-newsletter for example. People who opt-in to receive your e-newsletter WANT to receive it; they’re giving you permission to drip on them with your marketing message. On the other hand, if you gather business cards from networking events and add people to your e-newsletter list without them opting in, they haven’t given you their permission and they may think negatively about your business by sending them unsolicited information.
