Mustang Cafe is the MSBG Middle School Microeconomy Project. It combines the elements of Accounting, Bookkeeping, Inventory, Marketing and Customer Service while learning a trade skill that could serve the students throughout their lives. This project will give the students confidence in the development of ideas and a greater understanding of how to read and serve people. Plus, coffee is delicious. Mustang Cafe will start by serving locally roasted coffee (The Drip) and a selection of teas, expanding to include other products as the students gain confidence and skill. Your mornings at MSBG just got a little better.

Montessori 101 - Elementary Experience

“For parents who invest in a Montessori education beyond the earliest years, you are gifted with a child who goes into the world able to reach their highest potential - not only academically and eventually in their careers, but as human beings who are going to give back and make it a better world."
-Michelle Morrison, Head of School, Princeton Montessori School

What sets Montessori apart in the Elementary years, ages 6 -12, is the individually paced curriculum that challenges children academically and safeguards their well-being and sense of self. Engaging as contributing members of a respectful community, they learn to question, think critically, and take responsibility for their own learning - skills that will support them in later education and in life. Read more about Montessori in the Elementary years and call or visit us to learn more about our Lower and Upper Elementary programs at MSBG.

International Day of Peace Celebration at MSBG

September 20, 2019

Please have your children wear white to

school this day!
The United Nations' International Day of Peace is Saturday, September 21. Established in 1981 by unanimous United Nations resolution, Peace Day provides a globally shared date for all humanity to commit to Peace above all differences and to contribute to building a Culture of Peace. We celebrate this day annually at MSBG and invite you to celebrate as well. As a school community, we will be observing the International Day of Peace on Friday, September 20th this year.

"A key ingredient in building a culture of peace is education. The young of today deserve a radically different education—one that does not glorify war but educates for peace, non-violence, and international cooperation."
—Ambassador A. K. Chowdhury, Former Head of UNICEF
