Review 2019

During 2019 we encouraged visits from over 35,000 people! Were you among them? See if you made it in to the review by clicking this link.

Produced for funders, stakeholders and audiences, the Review captures all our activity along with anything you told us. It shows how we have grown, what our plans are and how we listen. It is also our formal and official thank you. Read more...

St Brigid's Day,
1 Feb 2020

It seems a long way away now, but 1 Feb will be here in a flash. Before you forget: book your free ticket to see Liverpool Family Ties: The Irish Connection at Bluecoat.

Commissioned by us; filmed by The Sound Agents and documenting stories from Liverpool families, this documentary is sponsored by the Irish Embassy. Read more...

Thank you

Liverpool Irish Festival celebrates our diverse cultural connections with Ireland, but it is nothing without you! You give value to what we do and seeing you turn out this year to dance with The Armagh Rhymers and support musicians, performers, artists and creatives, of all kinds, was proof that Liverpool has a beating heart for culture.

If this is the first time you have heard from us, please rest assured that your details came from a survey card completed this year. We hope you enjoy our bulletins (c10-15 per year), but if you wish to unsubscribe, simply use the preferences at the bottom of this email.

Exchange 2020

Next year our theme is 'exchange'. We have lots of plans for swapping stories, hearing from dual-heritage communities, considering Liverpool's Irish history and jollity, too. Mark the dates: 15-25 Oct 2020. We hope you will join us.

Beannachtaí na féile!

Seasons greetings.
May your hearth be warm; your table full
and your heart filled with joy
this Yuletide and New Year!

PS The Liverpool Irish Festival office will be closed from midday on Fri 20 Dec 2019-Mon 13 Jan 2020 with no one responding to email or office calls. If you are looking for somewhere to spend time over the holiday season, we recommend you visit the Liverpool Irish Centre. If you require welfare support, we'd advise contacting Irish Community Care. Links to both are provided.
