First and Second Quarter Coding Clinic Highlights

AHIMA's weekly E-Alert August 2, 2018

A Journal Web exclusive overviews highlights from the first and second quarter 2018 publications of the American Hospital Association's Coding Clinic for ICD-10-CM and ICD-10-PCS, pertaining to topics such as alcohol abuse and withdrawal, diabetes, and COPD.

This official resource answers questions, features topics, and provides clarifications and corrections to complement the official ICD-10-CM/PCS coding conventions and instructions when the ICD-10 classification does not provide specific direction.

Since coding touches all facets of our industry, keeping up with Coding Clinic is a good habit for all HIM professionals.
