Registration is now open for the WHIMA Health IT and Analytics Workshop!

As healthcare becomes more data-driven, organizations will seek health data analysts who understand how to interpret and provide value to data and analytics. In this Health IT and Analytics Workshop, you will learn from experts working in healthcare analytics IT at Aspirus Health. You will learn what tools are used in data analytics, the skills an HIM professional needs to work in the field of data analytics, and the need for an information governance plan.

Who should attend?
HIM Managers, AHIMA Credentialed Professionals, and anyone with an interest in learning more about analytics in healthcare.

AHIMA’s Faculty Development Regional Meeting

The University of Wisconsin-Parkside is hosting AHIMA’s Faculty Development Regional Meeting on June 14th, 2018 from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM. This is an opportunity for educators to learn how to teach Data Analytics. Other workshop topics for the day include Academic Resources and Academic Affairs Updates, as well as On-line Teaching Strategies and Resources. The presenters are: Nathan Patrick Taylor, MPH, MS, CHDA, CPHIMS, Clinical Informatics Consultant, and Christi Lower, MS, RHIA, FAHIMA, Academic Affairs, AHIMA

The UW-Parkside campus is located at 900 Wood Road, Kenosha, WI 53141. AHIMA is also presenting this regional workshop in Maryland, Washington, and Texas.
