The ’38 Society-Honoring Our Education Legacy

Since 1938, PHIMA has been dedicated to promoting and improving the art and science of Health Information Management through education. For 80 years, PHIMA members and leaders have provided and participated in countless high quality educational opportunities.

Like you, members before us shared a desire to learn and to grow, so that is why The ’38 Society was launched at last year’s Annual Conference. Through donations of our founding members of The ’38 Society  we raised $1738. The money raised sponsored our speaker at our Fall Conference – Director, AHIMA IGAdvisors®, Ann Meehan. We were able to serve our members and provide education on strategic focus area for both AHIMA and PHIMA.

The ’38 Society is for those members that believe education is the path to growth in HIM. Your donation will help build the foundation for incredible educational opportunities for PHIMA members like you. One hundred percent of the donations to The ’38 Society are used to directly support the cost of providing knowledgeable and experienced speakers and outstanding programs to PHIMA members.

You have the opportunity now to ensure that you and future members of PHIMA will continue to experience the same high-quality education you have come to expect from PHIMA. Become a member of The ’38 Society and help ensure PHIMA’s education legacy.

We have added an “anniversary level” of $80 to recognize this milestone year. In addition, you will have the opportunity to honor someone through a gift in their name. They will receive notice of the gift from PHIMA.

You can donate on-line. All donors will be recognized in a weekly e-Alert, on the PHIMA website, in the printed Annual Conference program and other opportunities at the meeting and throughout the year.

PHIMA is a 501(c)6 organization, which means we are an organization that serves members/profession. Donations to a 501(c)6 organization are not tax deductible.

Thank you for your support!
