The Company @ Bloomfield College seeks students for many roles
The Company @ Bloomfield College is a resident theater company founded by Bloomfield students and Dr. Freddie Harris and dedicated to producing works by emerging and underrepresented playwrights and other performance artists.
In collaboration with guest artists who are professionals in the world of theater, The Company engages with issues of social justice that affect and shape the Bloomfield College community.
This semester's offerings include a COLORED, a benefit performance for The Company by choreographer/dancer Kyle Marshall, and a staged reading of ANOWA by award-winning Ghanaian playwright Ama Ata Aidoo, the first African woman to have her plays published.
Students are needed to be part of the producing team for both events, and actors are needed for the staged reading of ANOWA.
