More than 50 medical students are graduating early to participate in the Kansas Pandemic Volunteer Health Care Workforce, a program that will deploy them throughout Kansas as part of the state's response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Read more.
KU Medical Center will be participating in a nationwide clinical trial to evaluate the effectiveness of hydroxychloroquine in preventing COVID-19 infection in exposed health care workers. Read more about the study. You can help by signing up here.
The COVID-19 pandemic presents unprecedented challenges to the KUMC community. Many alumni have asked how they can help, and in response KU Endowment has established a COVID-19 Emergency Relief Fund.
