On behalf of NCCID, Project Manager Eve Cheuk presented NCCID’s work on STBBI partner notification (PN) while attending the 2012 National STD Prevention Conference organized by the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, in Minneapolis, Minnesota on March 12-15. In addition to presenting our PN work, NCCID’s Dr. Cheuk and Dr. Anneliese Poetz also hosted a reception to connect with US colleagues to share information and exchange ideas about how partner notification is conducted and evaluated in the respective countries. The reception was well-received and presented an important opportunity for NCCID to establish long-term relationships for future collaborations with the US colleagues.
