Transnational Conference on Landscape

ADRILINK organizes the first transnational conference on landscape, "LANDSCAPE AND SUSTAINABLE TOURISM– Strategies and tools for interpretation and management”. The conference will take place in the city of Venice, Italy on 18 November 2021. The conference will start at 09:00 and will end at 18:00.

5th Steering Committee Meeting 

The transnational conference will be followed on the next day, 19 November 2021, by the 5th Steering Committee meeting. The meeting will be in presence, with the possibility to participate online via Zoom.
Project activities 
First Local Thematic Tourism Workshop in Serres
The “Early Childhood Education, Social Policy and Sports Agency of Serres Municipality – O.P.A.K.P.A” concluded on 12 July, 2021 the 1st Local Thematic Tourism Workshop in Serres, at the Elpida Resort & Spa Hotel. The workshop was held in the framework of the project
entitled "ADRILINK- Adriatic landscape interpretation network", of the Interreg V-B Program Adriatic - Ionian Program - ADRION 2014 -2020 '', in which, O.P.A. K.P.A participates as a partner. The workshop was attended by representatives of the Local authorities, Professors of the International University of Greece and the Department of Physical Education of Serres, Presidents of Associations and representatives of organizations related to the development of Tourism in the Prefecture of Serres.
The first Landscape Day in Jesi
Last Summer, on 28 July 2021, the Municipality of Jesi organized its Landscape Day hosted in the fascinating spaces of the Museum of Printing Arts which presents a particular collection of printing machinery, movable type, ancient tools that tell how the way of communicating
is developed over the time. In the same day the LINK-Lab of Jesi was established. It is formed by a group of local experts who started debating on how to define the Plan of Action for the implementation of the Interpretation Centre in Jesi. It was a very interesting debate, where different ideas and thoughts of different stakeholders were shared by exchanging knowledge and different point of views regarding the possibility to develop an Integrated Strategy on Landscape and Tourism for Jesi.

Establishment of Mošćenička Draga LINK-Lab
After an active summer season in municipality of Mošćenička Draga, a well-known Croatian tourist destination, autumn created an intensive working atmosphere in ADRILINK project. In cooperation with the local community, local stake-
-holders stakeholders relevant for design of a plan for the interpretation of the local landscape of the municipality of Mošćenička Draga were identified.  In the next phase, the identified stakeholders were invited to cooperate within the established working group “LINK-Lab Mošćenička Draga”. The first stakeholder meeting was held on October 27 as part of the first design workshop. The workshop brought together representatives of more than 10 local stakeholders. LINK - Lab was joined by representatives of all active associations from the municipality, as well as representatives of the Tourist Board, Učka Nature Park and investors in the golf project.

Virtual Meeting with all ADRILINK WP Leaders

On 14 September, 2021, Lead partner and ADRILINK Team called a virtual meeting with all WP Leaders of the ADRILINK project. The objective of this meeting was to discuss the state of art of project

activities included in WPC, WP2 and WP3.The discussion was based on the deliverables reached or planned on the above-mentioned work packages. Discussions on the draft program and possible date for the organization of the International Conference in Venice took place also during the meeting. The conclusions of the meeting provided the next steps to be undertaken by each WP leader for a successful realization of project activities in order to evidence better any gap and/or delay in the implementation.

First LINK-Lab in Valbona
On 4th of October, 2021 the Albanian Development Fund organised the first Local co-design workshop in Valbona, Albania. The event started off with a brief ADRILINK project presentation and then focused on 'Key concepts behind a landscape tourism:
perception, integration and communication'. In addition to that, during the second part of the event, the participants spoke about and identified the best practices and significant examples about landscape tourism. The last session of the event was a discussion on implementation of LICs and establishment of LINK-labs.
