AWARDS ALL AROUND
SFB Project Receives Royal Recognition
Canto-Lugo Named F2F Volunteer of Year

As 2016 draws to a close, Winrock people and projects are garnering well-deserved recognition. The USAID Sustaining Forest and Biodiversity (SFB) Project has been awarded the Royal Order of Sahametrei, the highest honor the country bestows upon foreigners. This award, signed by Cambodian Prime Minister Samdech Hun Sen, recognizes outstanding service to the king and people of Cambodia. And on December 5, Winrock nominee Neelam Canto-Lugo was named Farmer-to-Farmer (F2F) Volunteer of the Year at VEGA Alliance’s International Volunteer Day Forum and Awards Celebration in Washington, D.C. Canto-Lugo worked with Winrock’s USAID-funded F2F program in rural Nepal last May.
