Creating Art Wildly Different for 26 years

TEACHING...Last week Tim had the pleasure of teaching kindergarten through grade 3 at our local Buchanan Elementary School. We are so very fortunate and blessed to have a strong art program in our schools, as well as an amazing group of passionate educators.

BUILDING BUNNIES

After 2 days, 16 classes and a total of 680 kids. "Exhausted," had a new level of meaning and we had a renewed respect for our teachers! Tim explained that he is a full time artist, making his living creating sculptures, the many steps of the foundry process and sculptural design. Then Tim and every student worked in clay to build a "Hare Ball Bunny." The students were amazing leaders and listeners, so excited, inquisitive and polite. Showing wonderful interest and asking great questions. Everyone had a great time.

We were super excited to hear how many of the kids had seen the "Rabbit Reach" in Little Rock, Arkansas. The students spent several days prior to Tim's visit, learning about him and his sculptures. Amazing art program, kudos to our art teachers, Mrs. Chapman-Speelman and Ms. Gray.
