NoHo-Bowery East Village Fund

Thank you, generous friends, for the donations contributed thus far.  The NoHo-Bowery East Village fund, established through the nonprofit Two Bridges Neighborhood Council, which has been on the ground from the beginning with LES Ready, collects still needed tax-deductible donations and distributes, as need indicates, to victims with immediate cash needs. Read more here.  It is open to all.   Displacement and recovery are still major issues.  You can still HELP  NOW!

Artists in Residence, Only
Enormous loft at 35 Bond St. with 3,200 square feet (big enough, as you see from the above photo, for some serious choreographing) has an equally enormous asking price of $5.995 million.  35 Bond St.adheres to Artist In Residence guidelines, meaning that in order to live there you need to be an artist according to city's somewhat strange definition of who and what an artist is (Choreographers are artists. Dancers are not artists.)

Check out all the details on Curbed.

NoHo Penthouse with a Sense of History

The pediment isn’t actually the original, which years ago fell off the Civil War-era building, known as the Schumacher, at 36 Bleecker St. Instead it’s an extremely accurate replica, constructed using historic photos and old construction proposals.  Construction is scheduled to be completed in June.

You can see them here.
