Don't let the name fool you... Milk was the drink of choice at this state park, originally the Du Pont dairy farm. At this race, you'll run the trails that make this park (home to Delaware's two oldest nature preserves) a cash cow for farm, field and forest freaks.

The 5K XC course offers a taste of the rolling terrain, while the 12K "long-course" will show you the full lay of the land. You'll even run a stretch beside the namesake Brandywine Creek -- tempting to dairy cows and thirsty runners alike.

Only long course (12k) finishers can earn points towards the series and nationals.

We pay for your park entrance fee's so you do not need to pay at the entrance booth or at the self-pay box in the parking lot. Once the main parking lot fills up, we'll funnel everyone into the field

The 12k course will follow rocky and hilly single track through the woods for approximately five miles before letting you out on the rolling cross country course for the remaining three miles of the race.  The 12k course will be marked with RED  ARROWS  and PINK survey flags.

There will be 2 aid stations along the 12k course, one of which you will go by twice. So you'll have aid stations at approx miles 2, 4, and 6.

The 5k course will follow a rolling cross country course over 3.1 miles of Brandywine Creek State Park. The 5k will be marked with BLUE ARROWS and BLUE survey flags.

Awards!

Top three Male and Female overall winners will be awarded a custom pint glass + unique gifts!

Top three age group winners will take home a custom pint glass filled with as many sponsor goodies as we can get for you all.

Please wear your race bib visibly on the front of your body so our backup timing cameras can capture your finish time, and so our finish line photographers can tag you for photo albums.
We have awesome sponsors and community partners - please check them out and consider supporting them too. We could not host this race series without them.
Series Championship

Athletes who participate in at least 2 races of the series will earn series points towards their age group championship title. Your best four results will be scored. Series champions will earn a free entry into the XTERRA National Trail Run Championship as well as a sweet custom bag of goodies from the Adventure Geek Racing Team.

Volunteers - Event Crew Always Needed!

As the saying goes, many hands make light work. With a fun gig like this, it's harder to call it work than the work itself. We're always in need of extra hands, cheerleaders, and hype-stars at water stops, course marshal spots, and at the finish line. Volunteering at a few events will quickly earn you free race entries and/or paid staff positions.
