Medicare Physician Fee Schedule Proposed Rule Workgroup

The 2,000-page Medicare Physician Fee Schedule Proposed Rule was released last week, accompanying some of the most significant changes to evaluation and management coding rules in decades.
In coordination with Richelle Marting, the Kansas and Missouri Health Information Management Associations are coordinating a workgroup to review the provisions of these changes and discuss comments that could be submitted on behalf of our members for Medicare’s consideration in the final rule.

The first meeting to discuss this will be held on August 3rd from 1-2 p.m. CST.
