Eggduino - Saving & Studying Vultures

This is an interesting project. It's an open source project designed to collect data and study near-extinct vultures. Only the outer shell is 3D Printed, but it is still an interesting application of 3D Printing.

What Should I 3D Print?

People always ask me the following question: What should I 3D Print? Well, if you really have no idea on what to 3D Print next, check this site out. It is a roulette style website that will randomly take you to a curated, 3D Printable design.

OLO - The First Ever Smartphone 3D Printer

OLO - Kickstarter

This is a very neat Kickstarter that is doing incredibly well. It's a tiny 3D Printer that involves your smartphone. It seems to be really well designed. Despite the fact that most 3D Printer Kickstarters have failed, I am always excited to see new and innovative projects.

3D Scanning with Drones

Sculpteo - Sculpteo

3D Scanning is quite interesting and it is just a matter of time till people start using drones to 3D Scan large objects (i.e: buildings, statues) and make 3D Printable models out of them.

When 3D Printing goes wrong

Sometimes, things don't go as planned.

Homemade Gatling Gun

Solidsmack - Joerg Sprave

This is pretty damn neat. This guy made a homemade gatling gun. He 3D Printed some components which saved him a lot of cash. One of the coolest DIY projects I have seen.
