Contractual Training Courses
Paul Crabtree (Crabtree Consultants and Management Ltd) has indicated that he will be running the following courses in October 2015. These maybe of interest to NASC members.
There are three courses available providing there is sufficient interest. All courses will be over one day in Kings Cross and starting at 9.30am. Finish around 4.00pm. Tea, Coffee and a sandwich lunch will be provided along with training notes where applicable.
Cost for each delegate is £175.
The courses are :
1. Know your rights on 8/10/10 which deals with the basics or scaffolding contracts and running the contracts and covers the quotation, pre start, programmes, instructions, delays, contract, valuing the work etc.
2. A course on 29/10/15 to explain and review contract documents, how they are formed, what to watch for and how to amend them. It is often the document that causes our downfall when it comes to valuing the work and the document is often a mystery when it comes to signing it! All will be revealed!
3. A course on 13/10/15 on the NEC form of contract, explaining the main points, what you must agree when negotiating the contract and how to administer the contract as this form of contract is different from any other one!
It would be helpful if you could respond to firstname.lastname@example.org within a few days so that he can plan ahead and let you know which course is on.
