After several months of trials we have elected to partner with UPS for our UK deliveries.
The UPS service offers some real efficiencies we are glad to pass on to our customers, chief of which is that we can now accept orders for next day delivery up to 3.00pm.

Modula Joinery pioneer LIN-X parallel opening door systems
Modula Joinery are a forward looking manufacturer of kitchens and bathrooms who love integrating the latest innovations for their customers.
A city whizz kid living in an ultra modernised victorian cottage in Wanstead is using Modula to create his kitchen. The home has been enlarged with the kitchen area in the back extension widened and connected with the front receptions to provide an extensive living area flooded with natural light. Grey slate floors are continued out into the garden to further add to the feeling of space and with huge glazed patio doors open to create a great indoors/outdoors space.
Contrasting the clean flush surfaces of the kitchen is a rumpled leather chesterfield sofa pointing meaningfully at a large flat screen. What was required was a media cabinet that fitted with the flush look of the kitchen with doors that would'nt get in the way of the families toddlers.
The LIN-X proved to be quick and easy to install - Modula had given themselves plenty of time on site (being old pros) but as it turned out they didn't need it. The city whizz kid was happy and liked the soft closing feature and the way the unit looks neat open or closed. It also looks as if he'll be able to offer guidance to the wife as she toils in the kitchen whilst he keeps an important eye on the football!
How to give your cabinetry the superyacht touch
At the recent Southampton Boat Show a new feature appeared in super yacht interiors. Yacht builders including
Sunseeker have led the way in incorporating a new soft close mechanism into their vanity units. Typically vanity unit lids are flush with their counter top and lift open to reveal the mirror and the contents. The Sugatsune range of soft close hinges offer an elegant solution by combining a discreet hinge with an integral “Soft Close” damper.
