Virtual Masterclass: “State Responsibility and Response Options” in Cybersecurity
The masterclass is based on the course "International Cyber Diplomacy, Laws and Norms", designed to present advanced level knowledge of the concept of international responsibility in cybersecurity. The class focuses on attribution issues, including the responsibility of a malicious cyber operation committed by any State and the legal framework linked to the possible responses against it. The class is organized by the Cybersecurity Program of the Inter-American Committee against Terrorism (CICTE) of the OAS.
Regional Water Dialogues in Latin America and the Caribbean 2023: Towards the UN Water Conference

Online Course on Maritime Logistics Drivers: Resilience, Collaborative and Sustainability
The course, available by invitation only, is intended for officials from national port authorities of the OAS member states, who will learn about the current environment of port-maritime logistics to face new challenges and improve the competitive offer in the market. This course is organized by the Secretariat of the Inter-American Committee on Ports (CIP) of the OAS within the framework of its Scholarship and Capacity Building Program in collaboration with the National Port Authority (APN) of Peru.
Third workshop on Strategic Investigations in Complex Money Laundering Cases
This training is directed at the Attorney General’s Office in Colombia, with the objective of strengthening strategic investigative capacities in cases of money laundering from high-impact crimes and complex criminality. It will also seek to sensitize on the risks and threats that these crimes represent for institutional stability, market integrity, and social well-being. The activity is carried out in person, within the framework of the "Program for Strengthening the Capacity of Colombian Agencies to Investigate and Recover Assets for Money Laundering and Corruption" implemented by the Department against Transnational Organized Crime (DTOC) of the OAS.
Cybercrime Workshop Specialized in Ransomware investigations
The workshop has as objective to train prosecutors and investigators from the region on the latest trends in the investigation of Ransomware cases. The workshop, organized by the Department of Legal Cooperation (DCJ) of the Secretariat for Legal Affairs (SAJ) of the OAS, in coordination with the United States Department of Justice (USDOJ) will cover technical topics on the anatomy of ransomware, research, real case examples, and the importance of international cooperation in order to punish this type of crime.
Virtual Meeting of the National Drug Observatories of Latin American
The meeting iorganized by the Executive Secretariat of the Inter-American Drug Abuse Control Commission (ES-CICAD), of the OAS, through its Inter-American Observatory on Drugs (known by its Spanish-language acronym, OID), within the framework of the Project on Drug Monitoring in the Americas. The objective of the meeting is to present the OID work plan for 2023 and coordinate joint activities and support for national drug observatories. It is aimed at professionals from national drug observatories or equivalent entities, members of early warning systems, and other partners in Latin American member states.
Workshop on the availability of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances for medical and scientific purposes
The workshop, organized by the Executive Secretariat of the Inter-American Drug Abuse Control Commission (ES-CICAD) of the OAS; in collaboration with the International Narcotics Control Board (INCB), intends to promote a dialogue among competent national authorities of participating countries in order to raise awareness on the importance of improving and guaranteeing access to medicines containing narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances that are under international control. The workshop is aimed at personnel from Costa Rica, Honduras, Guatemala, El Salvador, Panama, and the Dominican Republic.

Training Workshop on the Monitoring and Evaluation of Drug Treatment Courts
The workshop is organized by the Executive Secretariat of the Inter-American Drug Abuse Control Commission (ES-CICAD) of the OAS, as part of the project “Establishing Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Mechanisms for Impact Evaluation of the Drug Treatment Court (DTC) Model,”. 95th Anniversary of the Inter-American Commission of Women
The Inter-American Commission of Women (CIM) will commemorate its 95th anniversary through a high-level panel that seeks to highlight its history and work for the promotion of women's human rights, as well as the activism of the women who accompanied and promoted its creation in 1928. The panel will take place at a special meeting of the OAS Permanent Council and is intended for high-level state authorities, gender specialists, women's rights activists, feminist journalists and the general public.
Webinar on Women’s Access to Substance Use Treatment Centers: the Swedish Approach
The webinar is organized by the Executive Secretariat of the Inter-American Drug Abuse Control Commission (ES-CICAD) of the OAS, in collaboration with the Public Health Agency of Sweden. It is aimed at professionals in charge of coordinating or implementing substance use treatment programs for women. The webinar will present Sweden's approaches in substance use treatment centers for women with alcohol use disorder, individuals at-risk, women with substance use problems in maternity status or women with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).

The objective of this course is to build capacity in government officials to engage meaningfully and effectively in international cybersecurity discussions, particularly within the United Nations (UN)’ First and Third Committees. This certificate program provides participants with an overview of the normative framework of responsible state behavior promulgated by the UN and will examine legal frameworks and tools to assist cross-border digital crime cooperation. Participants will gain a better understanding of the issues and challenges that dominate current international dialogues on cybersecurity, responsible state behavior and cybernorms. Regional Training Course on Illicit Drug Trafficking Control
The regional course, organized by the Executive Secretariat of the Inter-American Drug Abuse Control Commission (ES-CICAD) of the OAS, within the framework of the Inter-American Program to Strengthen Gender Equality in Counterdrug Law Enforcement Agencies (GENLEA), will be carried out in collaboration with CICAD’s Regional Counterdrug Intelligence School of the Americas (ERCAIAD, by its Spanish-language acronym). The objective of the course is to increase the capacities of women officials from Latin America who perform drug control tasks, as well as to promote the implementation of good practices and recommendations contained in the GENLEA Handbook.
