Limited Edition Soaps

This month we have Nag Champa and Anise Orange Scrubby available as limited edition goat milk soaps.  There are still some Almond Shampoo bars available as well.

We are ordering some limited edition scents to make in 2017, so if you have a favorite you would like to see available, please email us at to let us know and we'll see what we can do!

Soap Pieces

We made a lot of soap for the Holidays and do you know what that means? It means we have lots of soap pieces collected again.

Fletcher has taken over cutting our half bars and travel bars.  He is very exacting and he has collected quite a few soap pieces.  These pieces come in a variety of sizes.  Fletcher has a lot of smaller pieces in this batch as well, so remember that we have soap savers that can hold small pieces.

The popular scents tend to sell out very quickly, so don't delay.

Perfume Refill

We now have a 4 oz refill bottle of our perfume available in the scent of your choice.  There are also empty spray bottles available.

We've heard a lot of feedback that many people are using the perfume as room sprays and wanted access to larger quantities.  If you use the perfume in this manner, please be careful about spraying directly on fabrics or near furniture since we have not tested the perfume for safety on fabrics or finishes.

Free Shipping

Going forward into 2017, as long as we are able, we will continue to offer Free Shipping on all orders over $15.

When we began offering the "Free Shipping at $15", we received two types of emails.

Many people were thrilled because they are on limited budgets and can only afford our quality products when free shipping is offered.

Others recognized that shipping is a real cost to small businesses like Goat Milk Stuff.  They are concerned about our sustainability with offering free shipping at such low minimums. Many in this group have the room in their budgets and the desire to pay for shipping.

After much prayer, we decided to make options available to each group!

The website will automatically give free shipping to all orders over $15.  This is the default option.

You are under no obligation to do so, but if you would like to pay for a portion of your shipping, you may do so at this link: "Optional Shipping".  The cost of this "item" is $1.  You can simply enter the quantity to represent how many dollars you would like to pay toward shipping.

For example, if you would like to pay $5 towards shipping, just select a quantity of 5 and add it to your cart.

In order to find this "Optional Shipping" item on the website, just click on the top of the website where it says "Quick Order" and then scroll to the bottom where it says "Optional Shipping".

Whether you pay the optional shipping or not, you will still get the same great, fast customer service and shipping!

Winter Operations

During January and February, the coldest months of winter, Goat Milk Stuff will be on winter operations which means the following:
  • The internet will be functioning the same as always, with us promptly shipping out your orders 6 days a week.
  • The Sweet Shop will be closed during all of January and February and reopen some time in March (we will notify you of the exact date in the March newsletter).
  • The Farm Store will be open Monday - Friday from 8am to 5pm and Saturdays from 8am to 4pm.
  • There is no fluid milk available during January.  It will be available starting at some point in February (depending on when the goats have their kids).
  • There is still cheese, fudge, caramel, and chocolate covered caramel available in the Farm Store and online.
  • There are no Tours or Baby Goat Experiences during January or February. These will resume in March.
Thanks for your understanding.  We spend most of January recuperating from the busy holiday season and prepping for kidding season which starts in February.

We are expecting about 140 baby goats this year, so we aim to be refreshed and excited for that wonderful season!

Goat Milk Stuff Blog

We made a lot of changes at Goat Milk Stuff in 2016 (switched to machine milking, opened the Sweet Shop, added Nigerian Dwarf goats) and because of the craziness, I made the decision to stop blogging for a while. I know a lot of you have missed the blog and keeping up with what goes on at the farm and with the family.

We are going to resume the blog in 2017 and hope to stay consistent with it.

If you've never read the blog, you can find a link to it on the website in the left sidebar.  Just click on the link that says "Blog".  Or you can reach the blog directly at

If there is anything you'd like to see covered on the blog, please let us know. And if you do read the blog, we love to read your comments.

I want to personally thank all of you who did email me to tell me you missed the blog.  That mean a huge amount to me.

Congratulations to Missy Pelsor who won the December giveaway!

Newsletter Special

The newsletter special this month is 10 pieces of our sea salt caramel for only $5.  That's buy 5 and get 5 free!

To get the caramels at the newsletter special price of half-off, you must order them from this link only.  There is a limit of 10 per person at this special price.  We believe we will have enough goat milk to keep the caramels in stock for the entire month.

But please be aware that if we run out of goat milk, these are only available while supplies last.

Homestead Happenings

In December, we celebrated two Jonas birthdays - Greyden turned fourteen, and (I still can't believe it) Brett turned twenty! As always, we had a fun time taking our family photos.
We also celebrated Jesus's birthday! We hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas - we certainly did! The boys got up at 6 to milk while the rest of us slept in.  We sat around in our pajamas and opened presents, then did absolutely nothing for the rest of the day. It was great!
The goats are fat and furry and waiting to celebrate some birthdays of their own - the birthdays of their kids! We have lots of pregnant mamas in the barn, and they are not impressed with the cloudy, cold snap we've had recently. During the brief times the clouds part, they love to get out and enjoy the sun!

The rest of the time they've been spending snuggling with each other in the barn, staying nice and warm and cozy, and eating lots and lots of hay.
We wish everyone a very Happy New Year!

As always, we thank you so much for all of your support of our family and our business!

The Jonas Family
