Virginia Police Benevolent Association Endorses Greg Moulthrop

Education, the Economy and Public Safety are the three issues Greg Moulthrop is focused on for his campaign. On Wednesday, August 25th Greg Met with the Virginia Police Benevolent Association (VPBA) to discuss his positions that the VPBA are concerned about. Greg committed to working with law enforcement by repealing laws that hurt the ability of police to do their job, remedy disparities in pay and benefits experienced by law enforcement by cutting wasteful spending on things like free college tuition and healthcare for illegal immigrants and government programs that exceed the role of government, and protect the second amendment rights of law abiding citizens. Greg is humbled and proud to have received such an endorsement by VPBA because Greg believes that if there is only one thing that the government does it should provide safety and security to the public.

The Virginia Police Benevolent Association is a division of the Southern States Police Benevolent Association, Inc., a not-for-profit professional organization dedicated to improving the law enforcement profession. PBA members are full-time or retired employees of the various federal, state, county and municipal law enforcement and correctional agencies in Virginia. This professional association, funded by membership dues and citizen contributions, provides legal, legislative, disciplinary and other representation to member officers as well as an accidental death benefit to members’ beneficiaries. The PBA prohibits members from engaging in or condoning any strike by law enforcement officers, electing instead to represent members through aggressive political action. Greg and his volunteers have been busy door knocking, meeting parents at back to school nights, holding meet-and-greets, speaking at churches, Mosques to reach out to the Muslim community, reaching out to the Asian, Indian and Hispanic communities. He has been seeing a tremendous showing of support but could always use more help from you.
