Alright, while folks worry about computers becoming sentient, the thing they’re sleeping on is cockroaches.

Yup.

A Purdue University study led by Professor Michael Scharf has found “that German cockroaches are becoming more difficult to eliminate as they develop cross-resistance to exterminators’ best insecticides.”  (See The Blurb for more on the study.)

I repeat:

Cockroaches in Germany are becoming resistant to insecticides.

Note to self: don’t visit Germany.
