Resources to help you keep track amidst the chaos of COVID-19

Her are some resources we’ve created to help the sector deal with the COVID-19 information overload:

Let's Advocate

Tell your MP #WhatsAtStake

Our sector builds strong, resilient communities, but without government support during COVID-19, organizations will be forced to close or reduce services - with devastating impact on Canadians. At a time when fundraising is down and staff shortages abound, funding to keep organizations operational is desperately needed.

Communicate what’s at stake for your community by taking two simple actions:
1. Tweet @ your MP
Use our super simple advocacy tool to tweet directly at your MP and key policymakers about #WhatsAtStake. How will the community be affected by a loss of your services?

2. Contact you MP
Extend your reach: tell your story through an email to your MP, using our sample letter. We’re here to help: email us for additional outreach support.

3. Connect with local media
If you have connections to local media outlets, now is the time to activate them. If you don’t - now is the time to get connected. Reach out to tell them your story of community impact, and how crucial it is for nonprofits to be supported through the COVID-19 recovery. Let them know how your community depends on your services.
