Sign-up for the upcoming report on social finance readiness in Canada's charitable sector

The funding landscape for the sector is becoming more precarious while demand for the services of these organizations grows. In this context, social finance is emerging as a source of capital that could allow charities to diversify their revenue and become more resilient. As a partner in the Investment Readiness Program, which aims to build charities’ capacity to accept investment and participate in the social finance market, Imagine Canada has conducted a survey of more than 1,000 registered charities to better understand the current readiness of charities to accept social finance. The report will be released in late August, and you can sign up in the link above to be the first to receive the report!

As they note, “In order to make this crisis an opportunity, the sector needs to continue to lead by rejecting a return to the status quo to emerge stronger, more robust, and more able to serve our communities into the future. We need a shared strategy for community prosperity that recognizes and supports the role of nonprofits in rebuilding the community and the economy.”
