Miracle Wednesday Video Update!
Click here or on the image below for my latest video update. Or read below for details. We've reached a major milestone and need your support now more than ever!

I must admit to you that responding to my heart’s call to create the world’s first international youth healing center is both the most exciting endeavor I’ve ever undertaken and the most daunting. I often hear in my head the words, “I must be out of my mind to be in my heart.” And that is true.
I have been told that this is the worst time in 80 years to undertake this project. But in my heart I know it is the best time. Heading into the weekend I had some heavy decisions to make about how to make the best use of the money we’ve raised so far.
The dilemma was that we need to get back to Rwanda not only to continue our trauma healing work but to do the important development work and relationship building we need to establish the center – things we just can’t do from 9,000 miles away. Then I learned from Rev Thoms that we need to be in Rwanda during the first 2 weeks of October or wait until January which would seriously interfere with our progress.
More pressure – but somehow I was able shift my concerns and frankly my anxiety to trust in the momentum we have already created. And low and behold, on Monday we received a large unexpected donation and as of yesterday we are closing in on 23K!
Houston we have lift off!!! We’ll be booking our tickets by the end of the week. There is still so much to be accomplished. We want to include and feed as many orphans as possible while we are there.
When we return we have at least 3 solid months of follow-up work to do. We need 33k to develop our all important business incubator which will produce revenue streams for the center, to develop the communications portion of the Center which will give us access to all the resources we will need for the Center to be successful, and to support our Rwandan partners and orphans to continue working in our absence.
I am told that it can't be done but we’ve made it this far with your help! I hope you are able to take in the miracles that your support is making possible. Please continue to keep our dream alive with your visions, intentions and prayers to see Project LIGHT become a reality.
And while you’re visioning, I want you to keep in mind the amazing orphans we serve. Some of you remember Chantal, one of our homeless orphans living in a dangerous situation that we were able to assist last year to find housing and food. Our funds were only able to support her for 6 months. I just heard yesterday that after 5 months with no rent money she will be homeless again.
If our Center was already operational Chantal would have access to housing and job opportunities. She is a beautiful example of the kind of young person Project LIGHT will serve – despite losing her family in the genocide, being hacked with machetes, left to die in a pit of dead bodies and living these last 16 years in poverty she is still willing to forgive, she believes that she survived because God has a plan for her and she is already one of our heart-centered leaders.
33k gets us closer to making the center operational, every dollar goes directly toward program expenses.
Thank you for helping us get this far - stay tuned for September miracles!
PS: Donations – anyone donating $50 or more will receive the downloadable versions of The Grace Process Guidebook and Meditation CD. Sold separately they are $40 value. All you need to do is go to ProjectLIGHTRwanda.com and donate. You can also view a description of these gifts at TheGraceProcess.com.
Please continue to hold Project LIGHT in your heart. If you’re able, help us keep the momentum going by donating. Most importantly, don’t forget to look for the miracles and gifts in your day!
Imagine Project LIGHT youth healing centers all over the world - in communication with each other, donors, business, education, technology and healing arts collaborators. Now imagine our future generation of heart-centered leaders with the tools they need to lead us into a peaceful future, open to connecting, shared responsibility, unity, creative problem solving and the desire to end suffering - a model for world healing...

LIGHT = Leadership, Inspiration, Global Healing, Transformation
Be the LIGHT, Spread the LIGHT, Live the LIGHT!

To my heart-centered supporters,
The miracle of Project LIGHT: Rwanda is being birthed because I made a commitment to follow my heart and you provided the wings to take me there.
It is a miracle born because our hearts are connected – orphan genocide survivors, US students, our volunteer humanitarian team, and you.
My vision for world healing. Believe it or not, I come back from Rwanda each time with a greater vision for how world healing can unfold. If our teenage orphan survivors can heal and forgive we have a template for world peace and this is a model we want to bring all over the world!
With your help we will be returning to Rwanda in September and developing a whole new dream:
A new model of humanitarian aid
Project LIGHT: Rwanda
Leadership * Inspiration * Global Healing * Transformation
Imagine an international youth healing center
serving disadvantaged youth where young people receive basic needs, emotional healing and training, real opportunities for economic independence and the freedom to become heart-centered leaders. With advanced technology to have real-time interactions between these young people, students, donors and our visionary Resource Partners in the fields of education, healing arts, business and entrepreneurship. With a business incubator to develop products and services that will make the Center self-sustainable. Now imagine Centers like this - all over the world - in Condo, Sudan, the Middle East, India, China, Russia and right here in our own backyards, where our young people are given the opportunity to create global connections and collaborations that lead us into a peaceful future.
It's doable! We’ve created a pilot program to establish our first holistic resource center in the capital city of Kigali where young people traumatized by the genocide can come to receive basic needs, leading edge trauma healing and job training skills to ensure their economic viability. Our plan is to document the program for replication around the world. Read the details.
If our dream touches your heart come partner with us! We need to raise $38,000 by August 31, 2010 to return to Rwanda for trauma healing programs and to continue Phase I development.
