Terry magazine, website get new looks

The fall issue of Terry magazine is being mailed this week. It's undergone a full-scale redesign and added a few new editorial departments. The new magazine features larger type, bolder headlines and bigger photos. The college's website is going through a similar makeover, with most of the redesign complete, including the home page. Check out the new magazine online.

Terry Graduation Convocation set for spring
Next spring, as graduation approaches, the Terry College will hold a major, new ceremony in Stegeman Coliseum to recognize all of the graduates who are receiving business degrees this year. The Terry Graduation Convocation, set for May 1, will feature Aflac CEO Dan Amos as the keynote speaker. More »

Deer Run Fellows Program for students announced
A select group of Terry students will be chosen in the fall and spring to participate in a new fellows program to be directed and hosted by former Coca-Cola Co. chairman and CEO Doug Ivester (BBA '69). More »

UGA Bookstore selling Terry gear
The UGA Bookstore has begun carrying merchandise bearing the Terry College logo. Items include caps, T-shirts, decals and coffee mugs, and they are available for purchase in the bookstore or online.

Risk Management magazine rates Terry No. 1
In its second annual review of undergraduate programs in risk management and insurance, Risk Management magazine rates the Terry College's RMI program No. 1 for its sheer size. The editors note 112 Terry students graduated from the major last year and almost 1,500 enrolled in insurance courses. More »

Alum Joe Lariscy bikes and blogs across the U.S.
Joe Lariscy (BBA '07) recently finished a cross-country trek from San Francisco to St. Simons Island, biking and blogging with two friends to raise $25,000 for the Make-A-Wish Foundation. The Red & Black interviewed Lariscy as the trio approached Athens. More »

Terry, Ross partner on leadership symposium
A new executive program called the Atlanta Leadership Symposium is the result of collaboration between the faculties of the Terry College and the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan. Sessions begin Jan. 28. More »
