Spring Reflections...
It seems like only yesterday I sat down to write about Mother's Day, upcoming specials for the month of May and the grand opening of our brand new green facility at 221 Wolf Road. Spring has always been an exciting time of year at Complexions, and this year is certainly no exception - but it does feel different. The poet e.e. cummings described Spring as being "like a perhaps hand / arranging and changing placing / carefully there a strange / thing and a known thing here)and / changing everything carefully".
Reflecting back on all the 'new things', 'known things', 'old things' & 'strange things' we've so carefully arranged, changed and added to Complexions this past year, I can't help but smile at how perfectly this poem captures the spirit we've applied to our own thoughtfully considered innovation these last 12 months. So while there's certainly no shortage of improvements & updates to enjoy and treasure within the new Complexions, quite a few features remain that will never change or break, like our commitments to our clients which include (but are certainly not limited to) sublime service, premium products, pure ingredients and making sure that every minute you spend at Complexions is as pleasant as can possibly be.

- The first 5 people to post their favorite ‘thing’ about Complexions on our Facebook Page Wall will receive a coupon for 20% off any single service we offer.
- After the first 5 posts/people, everyone else who writes down their favorite thing about Complexions on our wall between then and 12 pm Sunday will have their name put to paper and added into our contest hat. (In other words, if you don’t open this email until, say Saturday, don’t worry, because you still can win :)
We’ll accept entries until 12pm sharp, Sunday (i.e. Mother’s Day). At 12:30 pm, we’ll bring the Hat into the middle of the shop and pick out the final 15 winners (who each get a 20% off 1 service coupon too). For this contest, your favorite ‘thing’ can be just about anything Complexions related (specific treatments, certain products, favorite room, whatever :). Introducing Master Barber Zack
We are pleased to introduce our newest member to our hair care team, Master Barber Zack. His clean, precise technique comes from over 8 years of hair styling experience. As for the quality of his hot-foam shave, my husband Bill had this to say: “Besides the extra smoothness a top-notch straight-razor shave offers, what I really enjoyed most of all was how relaxing the 30-odd minute procedure was. There’s just something intrinsically peaceful about the smells and sounds and processes involved in an old time barber shop shave.”

Wake up Wednesdays with Metta on the Mat
Can you think of a better way to start your day than with a gentle Thai Yoga Class? We can’t either! Which is why we're so excited about the new morning classes in our Serenity Relaxation Lounge. Metta (meaning Loving Kindness) is a wonderful way to set your day’s intention in the right direction. Thai Yoga Massage stimulates and balances the flow of healing energy within the body, opening the areas which are blocked bringing the person deeper into balance and harmony for health, happiness and wellness of being. This system creates a powerful release of stress and tension, an increase in vitality and well-being and it deepens the connection between mind, body and spirit in both the giver and receiver.
After class, there will be fruit, muffins, wheat grass beverages, juice & organic tea for you to enjoy. Full access to spa amenities including steam, sauna, and shower facilities (always) included ;).
Classes are every Wednesday morning, from 7:00-8:00 am. They are led by Randi, our certified Thai Yoga Instructor with enough years of experience to assure you’ll take away the most rewarding benefits. Registration is a must for each and every class. Single sessions cost $20.00 while a package of 10 costs $180.00. 24 hour cancellation notice is required. See you there!
