Welcome to the Tracy Women's Forum Association's (TWF) newsletter. We are excited to present our first online publication. Our goal is to help create a vibrant community in Tracy by helping you become informed, active and committed to yourself and our town.
What’s Happening at TWF
We are looking forward to presenting our 12th Annual Women’s Conference, “Live Your Best Life” on March 12, 2010. We are honored to have Lt. Col. Consuelo Kickbusch (ret.) as our keynote speaker this year. Lt. Kickbusch is a nationally recognized motivational speaker who uses humor and hard-hitting facts to encourage participants to be servant leaders at work and in their community. We were also fortunate to secure Katherine Forsythe, MSW, an expert on redefining and invigorating intimacy in relationships, and a health expert. Also planned for the day, some well deserved recognition of a few outstanding area Non Profit Organizations and their women volunteers. This year we are recognizing the Tracy Performing Arts Foundation, Brighter Christmas and the Boys and Girls Club of Tracy. What would our Conference be without Exhibitors? Some of the exhibitors already slated to attend: The Pampered Chef, Scentsy Candles and Medifast Weight Control. If you are interested in an Exhibitor’s booth, contact us at 888.217.2740. Also of note: Welcome back to DJ Dave Tillman, of LMG Attractions, and Catering by Autry. Dave will be providing all of our music for the day, and Autry will be tempting our taste buds with his exquisite flavors for breakfast and lunch. What’s Going on in Tracy As we expand our newsletter content, one of our objectives is to strengthen community involvement and highlight resources available for women throughout the community. We are currently looking to partner with local Non Profit Organizations, and provide them another avenue to get the word out about their mission and services.
