This email is going to give you few more details to how the day will look... we look forward to seeing you get your team together, come out and rally, maybe dress Kentucky-Derby style (what's that???), and raise money for a GREAT cause. We've heard quite a few people getting their teams together--can't wait to see you May 1 for Run for the Roses!

REGISTRATION
9:00 - NOON
Why must registration take 3 hours you say??? Because this is MORE than registration--this is a Saturday morning PARTY! Yes--you heard it, we're cruising in, we're going to have the tunes blaring, and we're going to hang out on a beautiful Saturday morning. And if it's not so beautiful you ask??? Well, we'll still find plenty to enjoy in the all new Wellman's West! Of course if you roll in at 11 or 11:30, you'll be fine... but you better have a good excuse!
NOON TEAM MEETING
NOON - 12:30 This is your typical Rally team meeting. We'll all gather, learn the rules of the day, sync our clocks, and make sure everyone has signed what they need. The Run for the Roses rally competition is GREAT for those first time rallyers as well as seasoned rally vets! If you've been hesitating about a rally event, this is your event! If you've been working on friends or family, this is the event to get them to!
If you're convinced, go ahead and register now!

RALLY LAUNCH & COMPETITION
12:30 - 4:00
This year's Run for the Roses will incorporate 6 legs over 100 miles on a Saturday afternoon. If you've done MidCoast Road Rally, you will find that Roses legs will be shorter in length, with more time to stretch your legs. We'll be visiting some great places throughout the afternoon, and you'll get to know some other great driving enthusiasts! RALLY FINISH
4:00 - 4:30
By our measures (and that's what counts), you should arrive back to Wellman's West in Ponderosa Village (across from Bonefish) between 4 and 4:30. This gets you there just in time to join West Des Moines biggest Kentucky Derby Party... as usual, you'll share stories and give each a bit of a hard time for the ridiculous turn you made onto that Level B road in Madison County. (Just a hint--no gravel, no dirt). Sound exciting doesn't it... register NOW!

AWARDS
6:00pm After the Kentucky Derby is complete, and we've all lost or made ridiculous amounts of money off the horse betting, we will give out Roses awards. This year, you are competing for a very sleek Heuer rally dash stop watch set up. If you've never seen those, you'll feel like a very authentic Rally team if you win this authentic piece of the rally sport. RRC is celebrating our 5th year in 2010, and we couldn't be more excited to establish Run for the Roses in the Spring to complement our wildly successful MidCoast Road Rally in the fall. In advance, we thank you for supporting Road Rally Charities by taking advantage of these Central Iowa events! To register, go to http://www.roadrallycharities.com/events/roses/
