Don't rely

on water

treatment

for young

stock!

Franklin Vets stock two brands of zinc boluses. Faceguard and Time Capsule.

They are ideal for calves, yearling cattle, lambs and sheep.

During high challenge times supplementing zinc through water supply is notoriously unreliable in preventing liver damage in your young stock. Zinc boluses are the gold standard in preventing clinical and sub-clinical liver damage and ensuring animals continue to grow through this period of high challenge.

Discuss the appropriate treatment options with our staff and vets.

Did you

know?...

Franklin Vets analyse grass samples?  We do this as a free service for clients purchasing their zinc treatments from Franklin Vets.

Spore counts can vary from paddock to paddock and farm to farm so your best option in making your decision on whether to treat your stock is to have your farm tested.
