Hi Dear Decision Maker,
Welcome to January NOC Newsletter.
I have shared with you in December 2010 issue http://eepurl.com/b1RmH a guide ‘Thriving in Business and Life in 2011’ to set up your goals for the new year. If you haven’t made your plans yet stop reading now and take the next 5 minutes to reflect about some specific goals that you would like to achieve in 2011. It may sound cliché but countless researches have shown that people who have goals are more likely to realise them than those who don’t have any!
Another thing I want to share with you is the perspective for 2011.The global economic situation is still unclear and experts are making contradictory predictions for the months to come. Regardless what is said, do not get distracted by the sensational news from one view or the other; the truth is that nobody really knows. Rather than worrying the best alternative is to focus on your current goals and keep going. We will only know who is right or wrong at the end of the year. In the meantime let’s get on with what you have on your plate.
I wish you a very successful year 2011. Try something you have never tried before this year, learn something new, speak to people you wouldn’t normally speak to, and see what happens! Read in the News below my own 90-days plan.
Warm regards,
Francine

How to Spot New Business Opportunities in 5 Ssteps

One of the biggest challenges faced by business owners and decision makers today is to find competitive advantage to compete in a crowded market. However they also have to manage a huge amount of changes that emerge from various directions. It appears that no matter how much time is spent fire fighting these changes, no real competitive advantage can be achieved for the business.
It can be overwhelming and difficult indeed to make sense of all these new situations when you find yourself almost overnight with a new competition, consumers who have changed their habits, a new technology and new regulations that the business must comply with.
External changes can profoundly impact an organisation and even drive it out of business in a wink.
So what can, be done then? Read more ...
