Team Leaders Needed for 2010 Work-a-Thon
Registration is now open for Hands on DC's 16th annual Work-a-thon. On May 15, 2010, Hands on DC will mobilize thousands of its enthusiastic volunteers for this unique one-day event held every spring. Various renovation projects will be taking place at over 30 public schools across DC. This is a great way to give directly back to the community and improve local public schools for young people in our area. Tomorrow: Fundraiser @ The Greene TurtleHand on DC is hosting a new fundraising event at The Greene Turtle in Chinatown tomorrow, February 2. A percentage of every order placed all day will go directly to support Hands on DC's annual Work-a-Thon on May 15. Stop by for a beer and cheeseburger on your lunch break or come in after work for a steak dinner and a few drinks. You will also have a chance to register for the Work-a-Thon at the bar.
