Online Voting = Success! Kids to Kids Sponsors 51 New Projects!

Last month, Kids to Kids launched online voting to allow Kids to Kids Members to choose their favorite projects from our March 2010 grant cycle. Kids from all over the US - from our home state of MA to the west coast of California, down to Texas and Florida and up to Ohio and Minnesota - voted for projects and the results are in! 

Kids to Kids is happy to announce that 51 new arts, sports, education and environmental projects in Belize, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic and El Salvador will receive grant awards. Thanks to your votes and the funds you have raised, we will reach over 5,000 more kids through these projects, bringing our grand total since we started to over 12,000 kids. Hats off to you for making this possible!

Without further ado, here's a look at our newest projects:

Belize
Kids to Kids will be supporting SIX new projects in Belize with grant awards. Belize was one of our first Kids to Kids countries. We have funded 60 projects there to date, providing opportunities for over 3,000 kids!

Costa Rica
Kids to Kids has awarded grants to NINE new projects in Costa Rica. We have now funded over 40 projects in Costa Rica, reaching over 1,500 kids.
Dominican Republic
With your help, Kids to Kids is support FIFTEEN new projects in the Dominican Republic. We have awarded grants to over 50 projects in the DR, one of our first Kids to Kids countries. These 50+ projects have impacted over 2,500 kids!
El Salvador
Kids to Kids will be supporting TWENTY-TWO new projects (!) in El Salvador this grant cycle. With the projects below, we will be reaching over 3,000 kids!
What's Next for Kids to Kids?
Kids to Kids is currently accepting applications for new projects for our June grant cycle. In addition to the four countries above, we have expanded to include Ecuador, Mali, Morocco, Peru, Philippines and Rwanda. How exciting is that?!? 

Voting for this next round of projects will open in June. We need your help to get as many people as you can to become Kids to Kids Members and join our global youth movement before then!
