About Hobnob
Ever wonder, "What am I going to do with my life?"
Hobnob teaches you 1) how to find your best-matching majors and careers by using your passions, talents, and values as filters and 2) how to explore your matches further through networking and internships. We do this through the 3i Methodology, a curriculum we deliver through our Bootcamps and Chapters. The Bootcamps are professionally-led career workshops. The Chapters are student-led communities that meet regularly. Remember... finding work you love can take a lifetime.

"This is a small note to recognize the excellent job you do. Three of our students had the great opportunity to participate in your Bootcamp programs and find their behavioral styles and talents.
They are not only happier but feel more confident in their career search.
I am very positive about what you do and will continue to recommend this program without a second thought to students who wish to enrich their futures.
Thank you for all your support and organization… every bit of time and dedication you give our students counts a lot!"
-Elizabeth Smith, parent and high school counselor
"Sydney thoroughly enjoyed her Hobnob Bootcamp experience. She gained personal insight into what motivates her and felt that your team guided her towards appropriate college subjects and career choices. Both my daughter and I would highly recommend your program to any teenager contemplating where they want to go in life." -Dawn Perlotto, parent ______________________ Can't get enough? Find us on:

Happy New Year and welcome to another 12 months of Hobnobbily goodness! If you're a new reader, please check out the "About Hobnob" section to the left and visit us at www.hobnobjobs.com.
Below you'll find news about our Bootcamps and Chapters, introductions to our community, and special Bootcamp discounts. Thanks for reading! We made a few more tweaks to the Bootcamp format in December, but nothing too crazy -- mainly the addition of a 1-hr debrief session with our program graduates and their parents. This development came from the feedback of program graduates and a focus group of awesome Cherokee County parents. We're looking into the feasibility of taking the concept even further with weekly "open door" hours online, where graduates can turn to us for quick advice, resources, and connections tailored to their Bootcamp results.
We're also really excited about a relationship we've formed with Kaplan that will help us spread the word about Hobnob Bootcamps to Kaplan-hosted and -attended events in the Atlanta area. With Kaplan's focus on preparing students for their futures through test prep and Hobnob's focus on career prep, the pairing seemed like a natural fit. We look forward to growing our relationship with the Kaplan team! Last, we're making a big push to reach more students over the next few months, and we appreciate any help our faithful readers can give us! If you know parents or educators of high schoolers who could benefit from our Bootcamps, we'd love to talk to them! Please forward this newsletter to them or encourage them to visit www.hobnobjobs.com, where they can sign up to receive any additional information they're looking for. The more students, parents, educators, and counselors who hear about us, the better. Thanks for any help you can give us!

Since our Emory Chapter finished their semester in early December, things have been pretty quiet on the Chapter front. Our student leaders have been diligently preparing for the upcoming semester, which starts up in late January.
One bit of news that you might be excited to read about (especially if you're the parent of a Bootcamp graduate) is that we're looking at growing Chapters organically from the groups of students who have graduated from our Bootcamp program. These Chapters would reward schools and churches that have sent a minimum number of students through our Bootcamps.
Building Chapters from established communities of Bootcamp graduates ensures that we have a base of support when launching new Chapters and that Chapter members have a firm base of knowledge when starting their Chapter membership. It also lets us focus our energy on expanding our (revenue-generating) Bootcamp program while continuing to build the support communities we feel are vital to giving students a deeper understanding of themselves and their best-matching career options.
At its shortest and sweetest, using Bootcamps to build Chapters allows us marry professional guidance with an ongoing community for career exploration.
We think that's pretty cool.
